Head News: “Flushing, Abundant Celebration Activities by the Chinese in Chinatown for the Mid-Autumn Festival”

由美中泰国际文化中心主办的“第三届云南民族艺术节歌舞庆祝中秋”活动今天在法拉盛购物中心上演，上百名艺术家为现场观众带来了热情奔放的云南舞蹈。现场还有云南少数民族服装展示和民乐表演，主办方还准备了发月饼、抽奖、猜谜语等趣味游戏，为民众增添了浓浓的节日气氛。40选区州众议员共和党候选人任柏年也出席了艺术节活动。

Today, the “Third Yunnan Mid-Autumn Festival Art and Musical Celebration” is held in Flushing Mall by the UCT International Culture Center. Hundreds of Artists bring to the audience the passionate Yunnan dancing performance. There are also Yunnan ethnic clothing exhibition and other musical performance; the main organizer has prepared moon cakes, lottery draw, and riddles which make the celebration more fantastic and meaningful. The candidate of the State Representative in the Fortieth District Phil Gim joins the activity as well.

此外，华人社团联席会今天也在金鹰老人中心为老人们带来精彩的歌舞表演，与耆老们共庆中秋。

Besides, the actors in the Joint Organization of the Chinese Community have come to the Golden Eagle Center for the Elderly and brought to them with splendid musical performance to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

有28年历史的海韵合唱团今天举办中秋演唱会，为社区民众带来包括《保卫黄河》等10多首经典歌曲。市议员顾雅明先生在致辞中，鼓励社区民众继续宏扬中华传统文化，为促进族裔文化交流、社区和谐多做实事。

The twenty-eight-year-old Haiyun Chorus has held the Mid-Autumn Concert today. They performed the singing of more than ten classical songs such as Protecting the Yellow River to the community. The City Representative Yaming Gu has made a ceremony address encouraging the dissemination of the Chinese culture and the promotion of cultural exchange and social harmony.
