著名书法家李国栋教授简历

 

 

                                

李国栋教授是泰国国际书画院院长，著名书法家，泰国华裔文化名人。他出生中国书香门第，6岁开始练习书法，迄今逾60余载。

李国栋的书法，在博采名家之长的基础上，自成一体，行中有楷，楷中有行，书体飘逸潇洒，遒劲有力，是2010年美国“世界艺术名家”作品大展书法第一名--最高奖钻石奖获得者。

2011年4月8日，李国栋教授捐赠给中国常驻联合国代表团用于为日本地震灾民筹集善款的墨宝“大爱无疆”，以当天最高价拍出。2011年4月20日至29日，李国栋书法展作为“联合国中文日”的一个重要组成部分，在联合国举办，联合国副赤阪清隆，中国常驻联合国代表团李保东大使，中国驻纽约总领事彭克玉前往观赏，给予高度评价。

李国栋的作品价值极高，被联合国秘书长潘基文、副秘书长赤阪清隆，社会活动家陈香梅、中美国会议员、市长、世界各地收藏家、博物馆、泰国海陆空三军高级将领等诸多名人和单位收藏，其作品流传美国、英国、日本、韩国、新加坡、泰国、缅甸、中国、香港、澳门等多个国家和地区，并作为贵重礼品赠与多国政府要员，深受海内外藏家喜爱和赞许。

   近年来，李国栋应邀到包括中国，美国，泰国，香港，台湾在内的世界多个国家和地区的大学进行讲学，讲授中国书法艺术，深受各地师生们的欢迎。

鉴于李教授在中国书法艺术上取得的杰出成就，全球艺术家联盟特发“终生成就奖”。

 

Biography of Renowned Calligrapher Prof. Li Guodong 

 

 A native of China, Professor Li Guodong now resides in Thailand. He is President of the International Institute of Calligraphy and Paintings of Thailand. He has been practicing Chinese ink calligraphy for more than 60 years since he was six.

 Prof. Li’s calligraphic works are natural and graceful in appearance，unrestrained and powerful in nature, with distinctive features of his own.  He has held many art exhibitions in the world.  In 2010, he won the Diamond Award—the top prize at the World Renowned Artists Exhibition in New Jersey, USA. He was also given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Global Artists’ League.

 Professor Li’s calligraphic works are very popular among collectors, including VIPs such as UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, US congressmen，and mayors as well as museums and private collectors around the world. Li’s calligraphic works are also presented as precious gifts to national and international government officials and dignitaries.

This calligraphic work entitled Boundless Love (literally translated as Great Love without Border), with a market value of $100,000, was donated to the China Permanent Mission to the UN for auction to raise funds for the earthquake victims of Japan. It won the highest bid at the auction.
