【纽约7月25日讯】应美国华人博物馆的邀请， “中西方艺术大师李国栋及丽迪亚中西合璧作品展及艺术讲座”7月25日下午在曼哈顿美洲华人博物馆举行， 纽约文化界、艺术界专家、学者、名流。前往听讲。此次讲座由美洲华人博物馆、 纽约诗画琴棋社、美中泰国际文化发展中心主办，由多个团体协办，由纽约诗画琴棋 会会长梅振才和青年艺术家李依凌主持。 在博物馆中陈列了许多由李国栋大师和丽迪亚女士共同创造的书画作品。李国栋大师先在宣纸上写下刚劲有力、独具风味的中国汉字，约占整个面积的一半。丽迪亚 女士根据字形，展开想象，用独特的西方绘画形式在汉字周围进行创作。经过一年半的精心创作，呈现给观众一幅幅新颖，别致，而又充满艺术震撼力和绝对创新， 绝无仅有的书画作品。

(Reported on July 25th in NY) Invited by Museum of Chinese in America, “Exhibition of Works Co-created by the Eastern and Western Masters Guodong Li and Lydia and the Art Lecture” is held in Museum of Chinese in America in Manhattan at afternoon on July 25th; professionals, scholars, and celebrities in the New York culture and art society went on to join the activity. This lecture is sponsored by Museum of Chinese in America, Chinese Cultural Art Association in New York, and the UCT International Culture Development Center together with other organizations; it is hosted by the President of the Chinese Culture Art Association Zhencai, Mei and young artist Yiling Li. Many artistic works co-created by Guodong Li and Lydia are exhibited in the Museum. For each work, the Chinese characters powerfully and stylistically written by Master Guodong Li occupy more than a half of the area on the paper; Ms. Lydia Reinhold will then use her imagination according to the shape of the characters, create special scripts around the characters in the form of Western painting. The works created over the past eighteen month are uniquely appealing to the audience; with their artistic impact and innovation, these works have achieved what no one else has ever thought of.

 

李国栋教授希望通过书画展的形式促进世界和平，和谐，友谊和发展。在作品中，观众可以从两位书画大师在中西方艺术创作中，体会到两位书画大师在艺术 创作中 碰撞出来的艺术共性火花，从中西方巨大文化和艺术差异中寻找到了和谐之路，为构建世界人民的和平，友谊，世界的艺术新形式，开辟了一条崭新的道路。 李国栋： 我人生中一共三件事：书法，音乐和医学。我学习书法已有60余年，同时也学习音乐，而作为一名医生，一名外科医生也有45年了。书法，音乐，医学三位一 体，相辅相成都是共通的。我学习书法60多年从未停止，原因在于感情，通过书法我能表达对于祖国及祖先的崇拜尊敬，在学习书法中与人对话。 在演讲中，李国栋教授讲述了自己的创作心得并且对日后中西文化合璧能够进一步发展表示信心。活动中，李教授表演了二胡曲目：“二泉映月”，而在活动最后， 李教授现场创作了书法-“龙飞凤舞”赠与美国华人博物馆永久收藏，将自己对书法文化的喜爱之情融入到深厚的书法功底中。

Professor Guodong Li is hoping to promote peace, harmony, friendship, and development of the world through presenting art and calligraphy. Within the works, the audience can feel the spirit of the two great artists and discover the road to harmony by sensing the difference between the Chinese and Western culture. Guodong Li says, “I have got three things in my life: calligraphy, music, and medical science. I have studied calligraphy for more than 60 years; I also study music, and I have been a surgeon for 45 years. I never stop practicing calligraphy because of the emotion. I can express my reverence to the ancestors and communicate with people by doing so.” During the speech, Prof. Li talks about what he has learned from creating calligraphy and shows his confidence in the continuous development of the combination of the Chinese and Western culture. Professor Li also played the Chinese urheen music Erquan Yingyue during the activity. At the end, Prof. Li creates the calligraphy “Dragon Flies and Phoenix Dances” and presents it as a gift to the Museum of Chinese in America.

 

丽迪亚在讲座中表示，她在2004年以前她都是在丝绸上作画，这和中国也是有联系的。她在讲座上向大家介绍一下了她与李国栋创作书画的过程。当她第 一次看 到李国栋教授在联合国的书法展之后，就深深地喜欢上了李教授飘逸潇洒，大气洒脱的书法创作风格，在李国栋教授女儿的穿针引线下，她就有了和李教授合作的想 法， 第一次和李教授合作的机会，当时第一幅 书画是“月”，我十分的谨慎，了解了中文的意义和感受到意境之后才开始作画。逐渐的，我与越来越自信，开始用红，蓝等颜色表现书法的含义，使书法和画两者 和谐。现在我详细介绍一下，“竹” 和“鸟”这两幅书画。“竹”这副书画上面由李教授书写的是“竹”字的盖。“鸟”这副书画的左上角这一点是“鸟”字的一部分，你看上面的画可以感受到鸟在 飞。还有“风”， the word means wind，你看这副画就能感受到一阵风迎面吹来。 现场的观众大多来自纽约的书画艺术界专家，他们对本次活动的参与性极高，与两位大师的互动频繁，并对这种表演方式表示出了浓厚的兴趣。国内外的专家学者也 对此次的书画展也一致表示他们是第一次看到成功巧妙的中西方艺术文化结合，为中西方书画艺术创作开创了先河，并给人以很大的启迪，给书画艺术平添了一抹亮 丽的风景！ 此次艺术展是在继李国栋教授在联合国举办“中西合璧”艺术展取得巨大成功、被邀至哥伦比亚大学做了两个小时的精彩书法和人生的讲座后，又一次宣传中国书法 文化的盛典。

Lydia states during the lecture that she had been creating paintings on silk before the year of 2004. But after seeing the exhibition of Guodong Li’s calligraphy in the U.N., she quickly fell in love with the style of Prof. Li’s creation. She started to have the idea of creating works with Prof. Li. She says, “I was very careful when we were cooperating for the first time. I began to paint only after I had felt the meaning of the characters. Gradually, I became more confident and started to use other colors to portray the implication of the calligraphy and build the balance between the calligraphy and painting.” Most of the participating guests are art experts from New York; they are very active and communicating frequently with the two masters during the activity. The scholars also think this is the first time they have seen the magnificent combination of the Chinese and Western art culture. It marks the beginning of the Chinese-Western art creation and inspires people profoundly. This exhibition is again a great cultural ceremony after Prof. Guodong Li’s success in having the art exhibition at the U.N. and the two-hour lecture in Columbia University.

 

 

著名国际书法大师李国栋先生及葡萄牙绘画艺术家丽迪亚.雷诺德(Lydia Reinhold)一年半前起开始合作，创作融中西方艺术精华于一体，寓意中西方和谐，和平与大爱的艺术作品，共40多幅，现已完成。其中20曾于 2012年6月18至7月日6日在联合国总部展出三个星期，引起轰动效应。联合国秘书长潘基文的夫人柳淳泽，中国常驻联合国大使李保东等亲临现场观赏，并 发表讲话，并出席剪彩仪式。 李国栋教授与丽迪亚.雷诺德女士在一年半来的艺术创作中，先由李国栋教授在中国宣纸上写上中国书法，如：“和平”，“和谐”，“虎”，“佛”，“禅”， “大爱无疆”，“风”，“花”，“雪”，“月”，“月落乌啼霜满天”，“江山如画”等，在留白处由Lydia Reinhold以西方的绘画手法，技巧以及色彩、线条进行创作，绘出一幅幅由西方绘画技法、语言诠释中国书法的奇妙、和谐画面。 在联合国展完后，这些作品将在美国、欧洲、亚洲多个博物馆、艺廊巡回展出。

Famous international calligraphy master Guodong Li and Portuguese painter Lydia Reinhold began their collaboration one and a half years ago. They have finished more than forty calligraphic works which represent the essence of both Chinese and Western art and the implication of the harmony, peace, and love between the two regions; twenty of which have been exhibited at the U.N. Headquarters between June and July in 2012 for three weeks and caused a sensation. Wife of the U.N. Secretary-General Yoo Soon-taek and the Ambassador of China to the U.N. Baodong Li joined the Ribbon-cutting Ceremony and made speeches. During the creation, Prof. Guodong Li would finish the Chinese calligraphy on the paper first, and Lydia would then create colorful paintings around the characters by Western techniques. The finished works show the marvelous structure of the Chinese calligraphy and the harmonic impression of the paintings. These works will be exhibited in many other museums and art galleries in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

 

纽约艺术界对于两人的这一创新的中西合璧艺术形式表示肯定，称赞两位艺术家对中国艺术文化有着独到的视觉和见解，他们的合作是东西方艺术家交流与合作的典范，为东西方艺术、文化交流架起了一座桥梁。有人称赞李国栋与丽迪亚的是东西方艺术家相互交流，互相理解的基础结出的艺术果实，对进一步开展中西文化交流 合作具有借鉴意义。出席活动的专业书法家都称这种中西合作的艺术创作手段已经走到了艺术界的前端，给人以很大的启迪。

The elites in the NY art circle have acknowledged the creativity of the art form of combining the Chinese and Western styles innovated by the two masters. They also complimented the two masters’ unique perspective to the Chinese culture by saying their cooperation serves as model of the Eastern and Western art communication which builds a bridge connecting the two art societies. Someone states this cooperation can be considered as a best example of the art communication that has a significance of marking the progressive Chinese-Western art development. Other professional calligraphers all agree that this unique form of creation has reached the world-class level and has a great impact on artists around the world.

 

李国栋教授1943年12月19日生于中国云南大理。他是泰国国际书画院院长、华裔国际文化名人，研习书法逾60年。李国栋教授的书法作品，大气洒脱，自 成一体，市场收藏价值颇高，墨宝被联合国秘书长潘基文等名人及世界各地博物馆、艺廊、私人收藏家争相收藏。多年来，他在世界各地举办书法展、书法家联展， 获奖无数。近年来他已经13次在联合国举办书法展示。 丽迪亚.雷诺德(Lydia Reinhold)女士，出生于比利时，葡萄牙国籍，现与身为葡萄牙常驻联合国大使的丈夫Cabral暂住纽约。她的画作，深具西方现代画派风格，线条和 用色大胆，作品曾在世界多地大博物馆巡回展出，被欧美多家大博物馆、艺廊、私人收藏家收藏，是一名杰出的绘画艺术家。

Professor Guodong Li was born Dali, Yunnan on December 19th, 1943. He is the President of the Thailand Academy of International Art and a Chinese international cultural celebrity. He has studied calligraphy for more than 60 years. His calligraphic works have their own styles with distinctive impressions, and they have very high marketing collection value and are collected by celebrities, museums, galleries, and individuals around the world. In the recent years, he has held calligraphy exhibitions in numerous places in the world and received lots of awards. Ms. Lydia Reinhold is a Portuguese artist who was born in Belgium. She is temporary living in New York with his husband Cabral who is the Ambassador of Portugal to the U.N. Her paintings have the Western modernist style with bold usage of line and color, and they have been exhibited in the museums in the worldwide and collected by art galleries and individuals in Europe and America. She is truly a phenomenal artist.

 

著名画家方书久： 今天来到这个现场，李教授让我很感动，我觉得他是我个人的偶像，他让中国的文化走向了世界。除了自己在联合国的个展，还与lydia女士合作展览。这是我 第一次有这样的展览。现代艺术和中国书法的结合。李国栋说：“学习书法60年不停止。”也表达了我自己的想法。 李国栋拉奏的二胡“二泉映月 ”是瞎子阿炳的成名作。也让我很有感触。我在阿炳的故乡无锡呆了很久，我在画画时经常放，有时也会掉眼泪。这个乐曲是对祖国的思念。 李国栋教授在泰国有很大的影响。很多名流都找他作画。我在泰国，泰皇登基的金牌是我设计的。李教授在中医，书法艺术和音乐都很有见解。我们应当向李教授学 习。他的女儿李依凌不仅将他父亲的书法推向了世界，也将纽约很多艺术家一起走向了世界。 Lydia 也很让我感动，李国栋教授作好字，再向lydia解释每个字的含义，然后将两人的作品融合在一起。中国的汉字是不容易了解的。

Famous Painter Shoujiu Fang states, “I was really moved by Prof. Li. I think he is my personal idol because he has let the Chinese culture go to the world. He has not only had the personal exhibitions in the U.N. but also the cooperative exhibition with Lydia. This is the first time I have ever seen the combination of the modern art and Chinese calligraphy. The urheen music piece Erquan Yingyue played by Prof. Li is the blind musician Abing’s signature composition which made me sympathetic. I have lived in Abing’s hometown Wuxi for a long time, and I liked to play his music when creating paintings that sometimes made me cry. This music piece evokes my memory of the home country China. Professor Guodong Li is very influential in Thailand; many celebrities would invite him to paint. I designed the Gold Medal for the Thai emperor when I was in Thailand. Professor Li is highly knowledgeable in the field of traditional Chinese medicine, calligraphic art, and music, and we should learn from him. His daughter Yiling Li not only introduced and disseminated her father’s calligraphic works to the world but has also brought many other New York artists to the world. I have a deep feeling for Lydia as well. She has to listen to Prof. Li’s explanation of each Chinese character and then add her own creation, despite Chinese characters are difficult to understand.”
